What are the benefits of taking Driver Education though Dominion Driving Schools?
Classroom instruction will take place at 11 locations of Dominion Driving Schools and Catholic Board of education locations.
Pick up and drop off for in-car training will also be at requested places and time.
By taking Dominion Driving Schools which is MTO-approved Beginner Driver Education Course provider for G1 license holders may qualify for a four-month reduction in the 12 month minimum G1 licensing period as well as may have reductions on their insurance.
How much full course will it cost?
The cost of the course is, $580.00, included Tax for all Dominion Driving schools locations. Catholic School Board students pays $540.00 included Tax.
What does the course price include?
The price includes a folder, pen and paper, hand out materials, Certificate fees knowledge of instructors and use of vehicle for 10 hours of in-car training. Taxes included.
Where & when are the courses offered?
Any of Dominion Driving Schools locations or at all Catholic School Boards of Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge. Please check the schedules for dates and times.
Can I take the driver education course through any Catholic Schools I want to,
although I am not attnding one of Catholic School Board Schools?
Yes. You must pre book the classes and call Dominion Driving Schools or the catholic school board @519-620-9658
How long do I have to complete the entire course?
The course must be completed within 12 months of starting date, passing the due date will cost you extra.
What should I do if I am unable to take the course after I have registered?
Please contact Dominion Driving Schools of Ontario at 519-576-4494. Notify within 24 hours of car training prior to start time and date.
How can I pay?
You can pay Cash, Cheques ( payable to Dominion Driving Schools), Money order. If you would like to pay cash, you must bring the cash along with the registration form to Dominion Driving Schools of Ontario.
How much time will I actually spend in a car?
You will spend 10 hours behind the wheel.
Can I take all 10 hours in one day?
No. Minimum of 1 hour and maximum of 3 hours in 24 hours time period.
How many hours of classroom instruction are there in total?
There will be 25 hours of classroom instruction.
How many students will be in my class?
There will be a minimum of 5 or a maximum of 38 students.
How many people will be in the car?
The in-car lessons are one on one. (Just you and the instructor)
What is the Age Requirement to take the course?
Students must be at least16 years old,
In the position of G1(Ontario, Canada beginner License )for in-car training.
How long do I have to start my car training apart from the class time?
The first in-car training must be completed atleast 8 weeks after the last in-class session for the Ministry to acknowledge the training.
Do I need to bring anything to class?
Yes. You need Your G1 license, pen and paper will be provided to you by Dominion Driving Schools.
Will I be contacted prior to the course starting?
Yes. You will be contacted.
What if I can't attend all the sessions in the same course that I signed for?
If you can't attend a class, call Dominion Driving Schools at 519-576-4494, to make up class.

What if I need to change my in-car schedules?
If you can't make your in-car booking, call Dominion Driving Schools at 519-576-4494 or call your car instructor to change your time to avoid penalties call 24 hours in advance of car reschedule.
When and how do I receive my certificate?
The certificates are issued by MTO though Dominion Driving Schools, you should expect to receive your certificate 3-5 days
after you have completed the program.
